2025 Annual Appeal
Edward Crockett, LHS ‘08
“I support the Lowell Schools Fund because investing in our public schools strengthens opportunities for students today and builds a resilient, thriving community for tomorrow.”
There’s something undeniably special about Lowell. A deep sense of pride pulses through our neighborhoods, our celebrations, and the people who call this community home.
Inside the 27 schools of the Lowell Public School system, that pride is matched by something else— promise. Every day, our students show up with curiosity, courage, and untapped potential and every day, our educators meet them with dedication, creativity, and a belief in what’s possible.
But the reality is clear, as federal and state funding fall short, our classrooms are being asked to do more with less, and our students and teachers are feeling the strain.
That’s why we created the Lowell Schools Fund, a bold new partnership between Project LEARN and the Lowell Public Schools. Our mission is simple, to close the resource gap and ensure every student in Lowell has the support they need to thrive.
Whether it’s helping a teacher launch a new classroom project, funding after-school programs that give students an edge, or connecting young people with mentors, paid internships, and career pathways right here in our community—the Lowell Schools Fund provides flexible, fast-moving support where it’s needed most.
We’ve set an ambitious goal: to raise $100,000 by December 31, 2025 and we can’t do it without you.
Already, your neighbors, friends, and Lowell Public Schools alumni have stepped up to help make this vision a reality for Lowell students — now it’s your turn.
A donation to the Lowell Schools Fund is more than a one-time gift, it’s a public show of support for your community and an investment in our young people. We invite you to be a part of this mission and show Lowell students that when their community is behind them, anything is possible.
