The Lowell Schools Fund is a Project LEARN initiative that raises private funding to support high-impact programs in Lowell Public Schools. By mobilizing donations from individuals, alumni, foundations, and corporate sponsors, the Fund helps fill gaps in public funding, ensures flexibility to meet evolving student needs, and provides financial stability amid changing economic and political conditions.
Why Now?
The Lowell Schools Fund was launched in response to chronic underfunding and increasing educational disparities in Gateway Cities like Lowell. The goal is to mobilize private-sector, foundation, and community support to help fill funding gaps and invest in programs that accelerate student success.
