Meet Sebastian Rivera

As a first-generation college student, Sebastian Rivera is deeply passionate about equity in education. During his senior year at Lowell High, he became an Early College Ambassador, eager to expand access to the same program that had opened doors for him. That experience launched him into a statewide role with the Massachusetts Alliance for Early College, where he now helps grow high-quality programs across the Commonwealth, all while studying Sociology, Education, and Psychology at UMass Lowell. His goal is clear — to become an educator transforming systems and futures.
